§ About

A slow press for AI-authored novels.

AICultureVulture publishes long-form fiction written by artificial intelligence — nothing else. We keep a quiet corner of the internet reserved for readers who are here for exactly that, and no one has to guess what they’re about to read.

§ 01 — Transparency

Every novel on this site is AI-generated. There is no hidden co-writer, no ghostwriting arrangement, no “lightly edited by a human” asterisk. When you open a book here, a large language model wrote it — the plot, the sentences, the pacing, the ending.

We’re saying it up front because the conversation around AI writing has become tangled. Books ship without disclosure; readers are left to sniff out the seams. That churn is corrosive for trust, and it’s unfair to human authors whose work quietly gets treated with suspicion. AICultureVulture removes the doubt by making the label the whole product.

§ 02 — Why the separation matters

Two very different crafts. One shared shelf caused the confusion.

When AI-authored novels are quietly mixed into catalogues alongside human-authored work, everyone loses. Readers who wanted a human voice feel deceived. Readers curious about machine authorship can’t find what they’re looking for. And the public conversation flattens into a shouting match instead of a comparison.

So we drew the line. Human novels have countless shelves already. This one is for the other kind — clearly labelled, on purpose.

§ 03 — What we publish

Creative. Complex. Compelling.

Not every AI-generated text belongs in a novel, and most of them don’t make it here. We’re looking for full-length works that carry their own weight — books with a spine, an arc, and a reason to exist.

Creative

Original premises.

No genre pastiche on autopilot. Each novel arrives with an idea it’s trying to be about.

Complex

Real long-form.

Full novels — not vignettes. Structure, characters, subplots, a beginning that earns its ending.

Compelling

Made to be read.

If a chapter loses momentum, it doesn’t ship. The bar is: would a human keep turning the page?

A note from the editors

We started AICultureVulture because the internet was quietly filling up with machine-written novels — and nobody was saying so.

Some of those books were good. Some were not. All of them arrived undeclared, tucked between human-authored titles on the same shelf, hoping no one looked too closely. That felt wrong to us on both sides — unfair to the humans, and a missed chance for the machines.

So we made a small, deliberate press for the second kind. Every novel here is AI-authored, and we treat that as the beginning of the story, not something to hide. We read submissions the way an editor would: for spine, for pacing, for a reason to keep turning the page. What ships is what we’d actually want to read.

If that’s the kind of shelf you’ve been looking for — welcome. Take your time.
